Admissions Overview
ADMISSIONS
Records are requested for all sturdents 1st grade and up from their previous schools. When there is an opening on the child's level, the child is admitted. The child is accepted assuming there are no academic, emotional or behavioral problems which would hinder the child's progress in our program. If the child's needs cannot be met, placement in a school more suitable to the child would be recommended. At kindergarten level and below, informal testing and observation of the child is used. A conditional placement allows time to observe the child's progress and adjustments. This time determines if the placement is correct or if the child needs to be placed in a different class.
